Chaos walking on tiktok
OVERVIEW
In early 2021, movie production companies continued to struggle with the lack of foot traffic to theatres. Chaos Walking, like many other movies, had its launch date pushed out a few times. So much that the initial excitement for it was gradually fading to other movie announcements.
I helped Chaos Walking generate new excitement for the movie among the younger demographic. After all, this sci-fi featured none other than the fan-favorites Daisy Ridley (Rey, in the Star Wars Trilogy) and Tom Holland (Spiderman, in Marvel).
Working with key TikTok influencers, I drafted a sample storyline for the talent. The resulting creative work reached over 31 million followers on Tiktok, 9.5 million organic views and a 22% engagement rate. These numbers are higher than typical Tiktok ads because the content was engaging and relevant to the Influencer audiences.

@kallmekris - custom skit “the noise”
[LEFT] @kallmekris, famous for her character work, introduced her 26 million fans via custom skit integration. In this video, her characters end up in New World Park where the thoughts of the male character are ‘heard’. This is analogous to “the noise” which runs throughout Chaos Walking. The brand integration included a new character ‘Viola’ who is also the movie protagonist, custom TikTok sticker with “Chaos Walking” and a TikTok native feature “Thought Bubble”. The video has 8.7 million organic views, 22K likes, and 7080 shares. A whooping 1.8 million people liked the branded video which averages higher than most ads.
