OVERVIEW

Early on when Facebook launched Facebook Watch, I had the opportunity to pitch a few digital TV shows featuring influencers. Pixville Nightly was a show I developed, pitched to Facebook, and provided marketing for. Eventually this was picked up by Arcade Cloud and rebranded to “Arcade Cloud Originals”.

CHALLENGE

Develop, produce, and promote a Facebook Watch animated show “Pixville Nightly”, where gaming characters are ‘real’.

APPROACH

  • Develop and pitch the show to Facebook Watch

  • Partner with comedians Sammy Obeid and Erika Ishii who will provide social commentary on the fictional town of Pixville

  • Create promotional trailer and promote using sponsored video online

RESULTS

  • Pixville Nightly accumulated 71,000 organic views across 5 episodes

  • Pixville Nightly was eventually picked up by Arcade Cloud and rebranded to Arcade Cloud Originals.
