OVERVIEW
Early on when Facebook launched Facebook Watch, I had the opportunity to pitch a few digital TV shows featuring influencers. Pixville Nightly was a show I developed, pitched to Facebook, and provided marketing for. Eventually this was picked up by Arcade Cloud and rebranded to “Arcade Cloud Originals”.
CHALLENGE
Develop, produce, and promote a Facebook Watch animated show “Pixville Nightly”, where gaming characters are ‘real’.
APPROACH
Develop and pitch the show to Facebook Watch
Partner with comedians Sammy Obeid and Erika Ishii who will provide social commentary on the fictional town of Pixville
Create promotional trailer and promote using sponsored video online
RESULTS
Pixville Nightly accumulated 71,000 organic views across 5 episodes
Pixville Nightly was eventually picked up by Arcade Cloud and rebranded to Arcade Cloud Originals.
